With "Das Damische Aderl," Kunstbühel+ presents an exhibition project at the former squash hall in Kitzbühel in the summer of 2026, exploring the intersection of visual art, theater, and social space. The starting point is the 10th anniversary of Gunter Damisch's death, whose "both/and" approach is understood here not as a retrospective, but as an occasion for a contemporary examination of artistic practice. At the heart of the exhibition is a multifaceted network of works by Gunter Damisch and pieces by former students of his class at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
