CALL for Concepts | Amsterdam Light Festival 2019
Amsterdam Light Festival is an annual light art festival in the Netherlands that presents the rapidly developing concept of light art in all its forms.
Each year, the festival distributes its Call for Concepts worldwide; an open invitation to artists and creatives from all over the world to submit ground-breaking proposals in line with the annually changing theme . Potential participants are invited to respond and reflect on this theme with a unique light art concept.
All contributions have an equal chance of being selected, and have the concept realised and exhibited during the next edition of the festival. A jury selects these artworks that will become part of the festival. Once selected artists work closely together with the festival to produce their artworks, and are included in the festival’s Artist Program.
