ELIA Academy 2021 | Call for Contributions
ELIA is excited to announce that the 10th ELIA Academy will be held from 19 – 21 May 2021 in Brussels, Belgium. LUCA School of Arts and KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture will host this edition, bringing together lecturers and students from across Europe and beyond to showcasing teaching and learning practices in higher arts education.
This is a critical moment to think about the purpose of creative education and the wider contribution our students can make to a progressive agenda for change within and beyond the creative industries.
The ELIA Academy 2021 explores the idea of transferable creative intelligence and the concept of the "extended artist".
Lecturers, artists, designers, architects and musicians teaching at ELIA member institutions who are directly involved in the delivery of theory and practice, artistic researchers and teachers/researchers in arts education or pedagogy, including art educators working in the public domain, are welcome to join.
