OeAW | Mannagetta-Fellowships
Mannagetta-Fellowships are financed from the funds of the Johann Wilhelm Ritter von Manngetta Foundation at the OeAW.
Target group
Mannagetta Fellowships support the completion of a doctoral thesis in the following subject areas:
- Archaeology
- Prehistory and Early History, Ancient History, Medieval History
- Art History, Music History
- Philosophy
- Law
Young, highly qualified doctoral candidates are invited to apply, who started their doctoral studies at a university in Austria no more than three years ago (deadline is the submission date) and need another twelve months to complete their doctoral thesis.
Grant duration and sum
- 12 months
- 25.000 euros (gross/gross)
One or two fellowships can be granted per year.

The deadline is 20 October 2026 (14h).
