This workshop for doctoral and PhD candidates offers a safe space to explore and strengthen personal resources. 

Amid high workloads, increasing social isolation and global instability, simply keeping going can become a growing challenge. It is no surprise that resilience is considered a key competency of our time. This workshop offers a safe space to explore and strengthen personal resources. Through theoretical input, personal reflection, and practical exercises, participants learn methods that support the development of serenity, confidence, and inner stability.
The aim of the workshop is to help participants identify and consciously strengthen their individual resources, enabling them to remain capable of action even in times of high stress and uncertainty.

 Methodology

The workshop brings together some theoretical input, guided reflection, interactive exercises and exchange within the group

About the trainer

Irene Jancsy is a systemic coach specializing in intercultural contexts, climate-emotions, and resilience. She teaches intercultural communication as well as leadership and team dynamics at various universities in Vienna. Her professional background is in international humanitarian aid, where she worked for over twenty years in the fields of communications, training, and coaching.

Preparation and registration

You can register to the workshop, if you are enrolled in a doctoral or PhD program and a regular student at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna or University of Arts Linz.
Please register until the latest May 13, 2026 via doktoratszentrum@akbild.ac.at with the subject "Workshop May 2026" and a current certification of enrollment.
The workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 persons (first come, first served).
