Wounded Narratives, Woven Memory examines the memory and coping methods of the third generation after the Holocaust—the generation of the grandchildren of Holocaust survivors—from the perspective of Eastern and Central Europe. The author grew up among Holocaust survivors and spent time with them as a young child listening to their life stories in Budapest. Alongside this very personal experience, the book manuscript builds upon extensive literature in the fields of trauma studies, memory studies, Holocaust studies, Romani studies, and Black studies, providing a transnational frame and perspective.
