AKTION Czech Republic – Austria is a programme for funding bilateral cooperation in education and research and allocates study stay scholarships and short-term research scholarships to applicants from Austria.

AKTION scholarships are available for all citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, who are enrolled in a master or doctoral program in Austria.

The scholarship program for students and academic researchers providing semester scholarships and short-term research scholarships:

Target group:
Students of master/doctoral programs and academic researchers.

Purpose:
students - only for the preparation of a master thesis or dissertation,
academic researchers - for a short-term research scholarship.

Duration:
1 – 5 months: semester scholarships
1 – 3 months: short-term research scholarship

Applications deadlines: 15.3. and 31.10.
