Horizon Europe | Destination Cultural Heritage and CCIS 2026
The research funded by this call will support the ongoing EU efforts to realize the full potential of cultural heritage, arts and cultural and creative industries and sectors as drivers of both sustainable innovation and a European sense of belonging is realised through a continuous engagement with society, citizens and economic sectors.
Horizon Europe Cluster 2 "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society" aims to meet EU goals and priorities on enhancing democratic governance and citizens' participation, on the safeguarding and promotion of cultural heritage and Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs), and on to responding to and shaping multifaceted social, economic, technological and cultural transformations.
Cluster 2 comprises three "destinations" with several topics each.

- "Artistic intelligence": harnessing the power of the arts to address complex challenges, enhance soft skills and boost innovation and competitiveness (HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-HERITAGE-01)
- Towards a fair and transparent market for cultural and creative content in the era of generative AI (HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-HERITAGE-04)
- Creative alliances: Fostering global partnerships in cultural policies and CCI innovation (HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-HERITAGE-05)
Supporting people, strengthening societies and our social model
- Safeguarding linguistic diversity in Europe (HORIZON-CL2-2026-01-HERITAGE-06)
