What separates the inside from the outside — and what connects them? A wall, a pane of glass, a convention.

Schwelle (threshold) brings together five artistic positions that don't just address this transition, but physically challenge it. Works by Ralo Mayer, Stine Ølgod, Maria Petschnig, Michaela Schweighofer, and Adrien Tirtiaux move into spaces and spheres, shift their contours, and ask to whom space belongs — who occupies it, and how. The rooms of Exhibit Galerie are part of that inquiry.

 A threshold marks access and exclusion at once, invitation and barrier in one — forming gaps and interstices that make autonomy possible.
