Lecture series in the summer semester of 2026. Lectures for Future (L4F) is an interdisciplinary lecture series offered at various Austrian universities since the winter semester of 2019. Volkswagen Stiftung | NEXT – "Dual Use" of Ideas and Concepts from the Humanities and Social Sciences
Concepts from the humanities and social sciences often have an impact far beyond academia. But what happens when theories and conceptual frameworks are decontextualised and used for purposes other than those originally intended? Through this call for proposals, the Foundation supports research on such 'dual use' effects and explores how the transfer of ideas from academia into political and ideological contexts takes place.

Austria joins the European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science; INTK is significantly involved.
Austria has joined the European research infrastructure E-RIHS ERIC ("European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science"), the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy (BMFWF) announced. The Institute of Natural Sciences and Technology in the Arts (INTK) played a key role in the entire development, preparatory work, and application process. It is now also represented on the steering board.
