Silvester graduated from a secondary school for product and fashion design (Schloss Hetzendorf), is a trained milliner/fashionist and completed his architectural studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in 2020 with a Master's degree. Extended stays in Milan and Chicago.
He has been part of the editorial team of derive - Zeitschrift für Stadtforschung and the festival team of urbanize! for four years; he is also active in the fields of furniture and product design, architectural theory, spatially researched performances and urbanism. In his work he investigates the parameters of spatial distribution, the hidden political and financial processes of architectural production and alternative approaches to it. He is also interested in the potential of collectively usable furniture and spatial objects. His projects have been exhibited at the: Wien Museum, the Architekturzentrum Wien and the Hauptbücherei Wien.
