    Report: Exchange with students from Brazil

    Students from the Teacher Training Program for Ethnic Diversity (PROETNOS/UEMA) took part in an international training experience at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in Austria.

    Naakpɛɛi Ni Nmaa Wolo – Wunderblock – 魔術板

    The Summer School 2025 under the motto "Naakpɛɛi Ni Nmaa Wolo /Wunderblock/ 魔術板" was the meeting of three art universities from Africa, Asia and Europe from September 22 to 28, 2025 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. It continued the collaboration that was successfully launched in 2024 at the CAA Hangzhou under the title Traces.

    The Blended Intensive Programme Mental Health in Higher Education in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, initiated and hosted by the International Office of the Academy, took place from June 23 to 27, 2025, at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and was a success.

    Since September 2024, UEMA in São Luís, Maranhão, Brazil, has been a new partner university of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna as part of an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility project.

    Erasmus-visit of the Institut Seni in Indonesia

    In January 2025, as part of the Erasmus+ project International Credit Mobility, Michael Höpfner (Department of Photography) and Angelina Kratschanova (International Office), together with students from the Academy, visited Institut Seni in Yogyakarta. The students participated in a workshop on The Weight of Water, Time, Matter, Space in Indonesia and Europe and presented their artistic work.
