Wanted: New rector from October 2027!

The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna invites applications for the position of Rector, to commence on October 1, 2027. We are seeking a leader with extensive experience in university politics and international affairs, and an outstanding academic and/or artistic record. The ideal candidate will possess openness, a proactive approach, strong supportiveness, innovative spirit, teamwork skills, and a proven track record of implementation, enabling them to lead the Academy and align it with future requirements for the development of teaching and research.
