Opening reception as part of the series Wer A… sagt of the University Library of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna

Two adjacent pages, sewn and related, form a plurality: only one book. Both sides of the same format, two sides of the same coin, ping and pong. Twins that argue and / or complement each other, separated by A: time B: it takes um|zu|blättern [in order to turn the pages].
We open the pages, it says: Diptych, folded twice. The picture divided in two, one consisting of two, zwie|gespalten [dichotomized]. V V, Double U: W, okay? This division also creates two units in terms of content, which we compare and look at and consider.

And last:

Zuschlagen [to hit].

And when they later lie on top of each other in twilight, they are congruent and no longer distinguishable; bundled together, they form a block with a lid that shields the contents (1) from view (2).

Florian Genzken studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich in the class of Pia Fries until summer 2019. Since winter semester 2019/20 student in the studio of Graphic Arts and Printmaking Techniques with Christian Schwarzwald at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Numerous group and solo exhibitions in German-speaking countries.

Lisa Glawischnig, born in Vienna in 1992, has been studying at the studios of Figurative Painting and Graphic Arts and Printmaking Techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna since 2017.

Karoline Kreidl, born in 1999, grew up in southern Germany and moved to Vienna in 2019; here she began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Karoline Kreidl's visual works are accompanied by poems and are inspired by contemporary culture – fashion, street life, literature and the film scene.

Marina Stanković, working as an architect, has been studying at the studio for Graphic Arts and Printmaking Techniques at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna since 2018. In her artistic works she experiments with various materials she finds on walks through Vienna. Numerous exhibitions in Austria and abroad.
