  • Robert Vanis – back of a book

    In back of a book, Robert Vanis will replace the spines of selected historical books in the reading room with mirrors, photographs, facsimiles, photographic paper, and glass. The work reflects on representation and (in)accessibility, as well as the materiality and transience of knowledge. A project realised as part of Foto Wien 2025 at the Academy Library.

  • Smart Map of Jewish History - Geschichte digital erzählt. Project presentation with Aliosha Biz

    Smart Map of Jewish History is a research project led by Herbert Peter, Institute for Education in the Arts. This evening, Christoph Lind (Injoest), Herbert Peter, and Juraj Sedivy (Comenius University Bratislava) will present the two project sections, Vienna and Lower Austria, provide insights into the project's fundamental ideas, and showcase initial digital implementations – including interactive 3D models.
