Murat Ates holds a doctorate in philosophy and cultural studies. He lives and teaches in Vienna. He is an editor for the journal Polylog.
Nicki K. Weber studied political science and philosophy in Munich. He is currently researching theories of decolonization and the dynamics of conflicts in postcolonial societies. In his dissertation project, he examines Black existentialism and analyses its political-philosophical implications for a theory of Black criticism. In doing so, he combines Black existentialist perspectives with postcolonial theory and critical social philosophy.
Fanziska Dübgen is professor of philosophy at the University of Münster, specialising in legal philosophy and political philosophy.
Marina Martinez Mateo was a junior professor of media and technology philosophy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich until 2025. As of the summer semester of 2026, she will be a professor of philosophy at Leuphana University in Lüneburg.
