food+drinks+stitching stories
Join us for a farewell celebration of our traveling quilt — a tapestry of stories and textiles that connects geographically distant places. Following the trade route of textiles like damask and lace, it stitches together the histories of cities like Bregenz, Lagos, St. Gallen, Vienna and Dakar into a shared fabric of recollection, refusal and possible futures. We invite you to eat, drink, stitch with us, and share stories on mending and weaving old and new relations.
Participating artists:
Anette Baldauf, Milou Gabriel, Sasha Huber, Janine Jembere, Susanna Delali Nuwordu, Abiona Esther Ojo, Anabel Rodriguez, Jumoke Sanwo, Mariama Sow, Katharina Weingartner.
