We hosted the 1st ASA Network Meeting!
The Academy of Fine Arts has been an active member of the Art School Alliance Network since 2010.
Between the 21st and 22nd of March, we hosted the 1st ASA Network Meeting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Faculty and general staff members from the Hochschule für bildende Künste (Germany), China Academy of Art (China), Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (Israel), College of Art and Built Environment, KNUST (Ghana), Purchase College, School of Art+Design (USA) and École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (France) took part at the two-days conference. In addition, faculty members gave talks to students and connected with academic staff from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
The Network meeting aimed to deepen established partnerships between institutions in Austria, Germany, Ghana, France, Israel, the USA, and China, to further strengthen the ASA Network and to strategically enhance its visibility and impact. Common projects, faculty exchange, and funding possibilities were discussed.
