DASEDITH2026
DASEDITH 2026: Contemporary printmaking Edition project
DASEDITH is a collective printmaking project involving students from the Art and Image I Graphics Studio.
This year, the focus is on relief printing in the form of linocuts. By focusing on a specific printing technique, the students' different approaches, perspectives, and questions regarding the medium of printmaking become apparent. Limiting the project to this technique creates a framework in which the technical possibilities of linocut can be explored and, at the same time, questions about images, originals, and reproductions can be addressed artistically.
The works were created during the winter semester of 2026 as part of the teaching program in the Art and Image I Graphics Studio with the active support of the relief and intaglio printing workshops.
The prints will be presented during the 2026 Rundgang of the Academy of Fine Arts in the Graphic Studio spaces at Schillerplatz.
As in previous years, the prints are available individual for €80 each. In addition, there is again the opportunity to purchase a collectionmap containing all 24 prints from this year's edition for the special price of €1,000.
