The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna announces with great regret that IJsbrand Hummelen passed away on September 14, 2026, after a short illness. Hummelen was a visiting professor at the Institute for Conservation and Restoration at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from October 2022 to September 2023.

Smart Map of Jewish History is a research project led by Herbert Peter, Institute for Education in the Arts. This evening, Christoph Lind (Injoest), Herbert Peter, and Juraj Sedivy (Comenius University Bratislava) will present the two project sections, Vienna and Lower Austria, provide insights into the project's fundamental ideas, and showcase initial digital implementations – including interactive 3D models.
