Andrea Zabric, *1994 in Ljubljana, is a painter who also writes about and with this medium. Her language mutually forms itself from the processes of image creation and image encounter. She follows this logic in various media where she is active – from work suits to radio contributions to sculptural works.
Andrea Zabric studied painting and graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, as well as art history and philosophy at Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) in Munich. She completed her master's studies in Critical Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with ongoing artistic research on the "Painter-Antenna," dedicated to ontological perspectives of painting practice through the lens of feminist-psychoanalytic approaches. The artist lives and works between Vienna, Ljubljana, and Munich.
