Jasper Sharp is mentor of Nora Severios

Jasper Sharp (born 1975) is a British curator and art historian. He began his career at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, in 1999, where he worked as Head of Exhibitions and Collections. After moving to Vienna in 2006, he was appointed Curator for Modern and Contemporary Art at the Kunsthistorisches Museum. He curated more than twenty exhibitions between 2011 and 2021, from major retrospectives and smaller focused projects to presentations of the museum's historical collections selected by Ed Ruscha, Edmund de Waal and Wes Anderson & Juman Malouf. He was the Commissioner of the Austrian Pavilion at the 55th Venice Biennale, the founding curator of the talks programme at Frieze Masters, London, and is currently the Director of Phileas, a philanthropic organization based in Vienna that seeks to strengthen the voice of Austrian and Austrian-based artists on the international landscape.
