Social Stipend
All regular students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna can apply retroactively for the Social Stipend in the following semester if they paid tuition fees in the previous semester and did not receive reimbursement from another scholarship-awarding institution.
The scholarship is available to both current students and graduates who completed their studies in the previous semester.
Application deadlines
- Deadline retroactively for the winter semester: April 1st – May 15th | 11 h
- Deadline retroactively for the summer semester: October 1st – November 15th | 11 h
Required documents (PDF or .jpg)
- Scan/photo of your residence registration certificate (“Meldezettel”)
- Confirmation of enrolment for the previous semester
Application
An application is only possible via https://calls.akbild.ac.at/.
- If you don't have access to the submission system yet, please register once using your @student.akbild.ac.at email address. This will ensure you are recognised as a student in the system.
- The submission system is independent of AkademieOnline. Therefore, you cannot log in using your AkademieOnline password.
For applications from doctoral students who have been enrolled in a doctoral programme for more than one year, in which a dissertation agreement must be concluded within the first year, the existence of an approved agreement is a prerequisite for the award of a scholarship.
Please ensure that your application is complete and meets all the specified criteria. Only applications that are complete and submitted within the deadline will be considered. Applications submitted after the deadline or with incomplete documentation cannot be considered.
