    As part of the 4-year research of the translocal performative academy (TPA) theatercombinat in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. A performative environment on new ecologies, long-term collaborations between Europe and Southeast Asia, transcultural glitches, artistic solidarity, and (digital) performativity.

    Auf dem Bild ist ein Herzritual auf dem Vulkan Merapi zu sehen, das während des analogen Meetings der TPA in Padang Panjang 2024 entstand. Sechs Personen ziehen an Fäden, an deren Mitte ein Rinderherz von ihnen zusammen getragen wird. Sie stehen auf einer wild bewachsenen Lichtung. Das Foto wurde von Claudia Bosse aufgenommen.

    Organised by the International Office of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna as part of the Erasmus+ project at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Dr Debbie Bargallie is an Associate Professor (Principal Research Fellow) at Griffith University, an Honorary Professor at Macquarie University, and an Adjunct Professor at Universitas Pesantren Tinggi Darul Ulum Jombang, Indonesia, reflecting her commitment to global Indigenous solidarity and decolonial scholarship.
