The Third Dimension - 3rd European Student Conference on Objects Conservation
The 3rd European Students Conference on Object Conservation will take place in Vienna and is organized by students and staff members of the Institutes for Conservation-Restoration of the University of Applied Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
The conference aims to provide a platform for students in conservation to exchange not only on professional matters but to bring students of different programs together.
The title of the conference The Third Dimension doesn't only refer to the conservation-restoration and preservation of 3-dimensional artworks and objects. We also seek a multidimensional approach! Preference will be given to presentations of student projects, which are focusing on experimental conservation strategies, research methods and innovative treatments. The projects should reflect innovative thinking and propose ways to transform traditional perspectives in conservation.
