Lucy Ivanova
From April to July 2022 Lucy Ivanova is Artist in Residence at the Academy and will be affiliated with the Drawing Studio.
Lucy Ivanova was born in 1989 in Dnipro, Ukraine, and studied at the National Academy of Art and Architecture, Kyiv, Ukraine. For many years, since childhood, she's been passionately drawing and painting. At the moment she is interested in attitudes between color, size, narrative, figurative, personal experience and other contextual influences. She also works with land art, sculpture, video etc. Ivanova has had several personal exhibitions and is participant of many collective projects, such as 'Unfolding landscape' (curator Faye Dowling, Art Center Silkeborg Bad, Silkeborg, Danmark 2022) and Plazza Ukraina (curators Boris Filonenko, Maria Lanko, Lizaveta German, Venice Biennale 2022).
