In its ninth edition, the Kunsthalle Wien Prize represents the ongoing collaboration between Kunsthalle Wien, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

During the Art School Alliance Exhibition Power Nap, which runs from April 29th to May 5th 2024, Annika Grabold, Diqi Tan, Giulia Oxenholm, Sonya Woodruff and Yanma Fofana will be showcasing their artistic works in the Aula at Schillerplatz.

The non-profit Viennese association CHANGES for women and cabaret artist Berni Wagner invite you to a big benefit gala. With Malarina, Maria Muhar, Schwesta Ebra and Christoph Fritz, a delicious selection from the current Austrian cabaret scene will be served.

Sentiment analysis entails the widespread surveillance of users posts and actions to determine how they feel. This talk outlines the importance of early and mid-20th century studies of women workers and internees in U.S. WWII internment camps to the rise of sentiment analysis.

The Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, together with the BMKÖS and the Hubert Winter Gallery, invites you to the award ceremony of the Birgit Jürgenssen Prize 2024 in the auditorium of the historic Academy building on Schillerplatz.

The new "Ballonhalle" location of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, opening 2027, will provide sufficient space for teaching, research and science communication in the studios, laboratories, event and seminar rooms for students of restoration and conservation, as well as all students of the university's science education programs.
