NeoFashFarRight is an in-depth fashion studies research that investigates the current role of fashion for the far right in Europe and the US. At the “Lange Nacht der Forschung” Teresa Fischer (MA, PraeDoc) will give a short introduction to the project and present first research results. Change of perspective. One object, three perspectives
Time has left its mark on a drawing by an unknown artist. As part of the Lange Nacht der Forschung we look at the drawing from three different scientific perspectives: a restorer, an art historian and a chemist jointly reflect on the significance and preservation of this unique work of art.

The Holy Kinship by Lucas Cranach the Elder- Insight into a restoration project at the Paintings Gallery
The Holy Kinship by Lucas Cranach the Elder (around 1510/1512) is one of the highlights of the Paintings Gallery collection. Within the frame of the Lange Nacht der Forschung we explain the conservational challenges of the painting and take a look beneath the paint layers using infrared reflectography.
