Living Narratives: Storytelling as a Leverage Point for Regenerative Transformation
Lecture by William Shan (Education for Good) as part of the lecture series Lectures For Future, hosted by Art and Image | Context.
Stories shape our world. This experiential workshop explores narratives as a tool for sustainability transformation, examining how the stories we tell influence culture, behavior, and our relationship with the living Earth. We’ll learn about the narratives at the root of the climate crisis and explore what kinds of stories are needed to inspire connection, shift mindsets, and cultivate a more just and regenerative future.
William Shan, based in Austria, is currently the Project Coordinator for the Re-Storying Futures fellowship at NYU Shanghai and the Experiential Education Lead at Education for Good, a non-profit social enterprise.
