    Das Buchcover ist in drei vertikale Bereiche unterteilt: ein breiter orangefarbener Streifen links, ein schmaler hell-lila Streifen in der Mitte und ein schmaler weißer Bereich rechts. Im oberen Teil des orangefarbenen Streifens steht in großer schwarzer Schrift der Titel „A...Series“. Weiter unten, zentral platziert, folgt der Haupttitel des Buches: „Gender and Postsecularity in Visual Culture and Knowledge Production“. Darunter sind die Namen der Herausgeber*innen in schwarzer Schrift aufgelistet: „Sabine Grenz, Doris Guth, Boka En und Fatma Uysal (Eds.)“. Zu sehen sind Studierende der Akademie der Kunstuni und ein Studierender der Angewandten vor einem Linolschnitt auf dem Grund vor einer Strassenwalze.Die Aufnahme stammt aus der Produktion einer Reihe von Großformaten, fotografiert von Renata Darabant.

    Das Bild zeigt das Hauptgebäude der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien am Schillerplatz bei Nacht. Es ist ein historisches Gebäude mit mehreren großen, erleuchteten Fenstern. Besonders auffällig sind drei Fenster im mittleren Bereich, die in einem kräftigen Pink leuchten. Vor dem Gebäude befinden sich geparkte Autos und zahlreiche Fahrräder. Im Hintergrund sieht man ein weiteres beleuchtetes Gebäude.
