100 best posters: Academy poster series for the relocation was being awarded!
The poster series designed by Beton Studio in the new corporate design for the relocation to Schillerplatz was chosen in the competition as one of the "100 best posters" in the German-speaking countries.

New Professor of Contextual Painting: Despina Stokou
The Rectorate is pleased to welcome Despina Stokou as Professor at the Academy. From March 2022 she will head the studio Contextual Painting at the Institute of Fine Arts.

Das Edith 2022
Since 2017, students of the graphic and printmaking department at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna have been been realizing DAS EDITH , now for the 5th time - a project for contemporary printmaking under the direction of Professor Christian Schwarzwald. 37 students take part in this year's edition.

Orange the World at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna
Orange the world - 16 days against violence against women is an annual international campaign that starts on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and ends on December 10, Human Rights Day. The Academy of Fine Arts is again in solidarity with the Orange the World campaign in 2021 and will illuminate the building at Schillerplatz during this period.
